How He Proposed

Jared took me to O'ahu the day after Christmas. Knowing we had a trip to Hawaii that Jared fully planned, I had a feeling that this could be the trip that would change my life forever. My heart was pounding the morning of while we got ready for our adventure day. The plan was to leave Waikiki and explore the North Shore to see Waimea Falls, Pipeline, and all of the beautiful scenery in between. The first stop of our adventure day was when Jared got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! On the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, there I was, giddy and crying because this was the most surreal moment of my life! The husband I'd been praying God would bless me with finally asked me to be his for the rest of our lives.

She Said Yes

I asked Jayme's parents on September 29th, 2023 for their blessing at Ola in Huntington Beach where I was ecstatic by their response! I continued to meet with Kevin and Alma discussing how I would propose to the love of my life. After some time and lots of planning and thinking, I decided it would be so awesome to propose to Jayme on O'ahu as we share a strong mutual love for Hawaii! I had the ring hidden for some time hoping Jayme wouldn't discover it.

After days of nervousness while on our holiday trip to Hawaii, the day came for me to ask Jayme to marry me. I told her we were having an adventure day of driving around the island exploring new places. Little did Jayme know (actually little did I know that she did know), I was going to ask her to be mine forever! I drove us to the location where

I was about to get on one knee. I took Jayme's hand and walked us through trees and down a trail to a cliff where I asked Jayme, the love of my life, to marry me on the cliffs south of Waikiki overlooking the ocean with Diamond Head in the background on December 29th, 2023. My good friend Austin lives in Honolulu and is a talented photographer, and we were fortunate enough to have him capture the best moment of our lives! We spent the rest of our day exploring the North Shore watching giant waves at Pipeline and pinching myself that I am engaged to the woman of dreams!

We wrote a song about the proposal

and it goes a little something like this
