Parking early is advised as the public beach parking lot fills up quickly here. If parking is full when you arrive, a good alternative (but a bit further away) would be Strands Beach, just south of Salt Creek; however, this would still require using transportation to get to Young's Beach Shack, such as Uber.

Parking is $1 per hour. Please be prepared to pay before walking down to the venue/taking the shuttle down. It is best to bring everything you need down to the beach at once rather than making trips, because the venue is a bit far away from the parking lot. Please make sure you bring sunscreen with you to reapply throughout the day.
